Pupil Voice

We have an active School Council whose views are sought on all matters regarding childrens learning and school improvement. School Councillors are elected each year, they wear their badges with pride and are encouraged in the skill of public speaking. They gather the views of the children in their own classes and report them to the monthly School Council meeting. Citizenship and democracy are taught.

All children are offered the opportunity to take afternoon tea with members of the Leadership team and Governors, children recieve an invitation where they are encouraged to express their views. These discussions focus on learning and behaviour, what the children feel is going well and any concerns the children have. Please see our board in the hall to find out more.
